Native American Courting Flutes are hand crafted courting flutes. They are also known as Love flutes or Siyo Tanka. They make great music and a beautiful art object.
Flutes in the left section are "plain", but decorated with no carvings. Love Flutes can be purchased "plain", "plain" with decoration, or with intricate carvings. A couple of friends do the fine carving. Both are very talented, and enjoy a break from their normal media.
Love Flutes have several parts, a few of the parts are, Bird (Saddle or Block), pipe body or variable tube, and the mouthpiece or mouth pipe.
